Mental Health Awareness Week at RGU
The campaign’s primary goal was to inspire self-acceptance and positivity within the university community. By showcasing individuals practicing positive affirmations, it sought to normalise and celebrate looking at yourself in a positive way. The message “Look at yourself differently” encapsulates this goal, encouraging a supportive environment where self-worth is acknowledged and appreciated.

The campaign featured video, social media content, internal communications, and vinyl stickers displayed across campus to engage students and promote interaction with the campaign.
Creative Typeface
The "Look at Yourself Differently" campaign highlighted self-reflection, diversity, and community at RGU. Central to its design was a unique handwritten typeface created from scratch by the RGU community. Members wrote the phrase "look at yourself differently," and their handwriting was scanned and combined to form the campaign's typeface, emphasising the idea of unique self-perception in line with the campaign’s message.
In addition to the distinctive typeface, hand-drawn doodle elements were incorporated throughout the campaign materials in areas where imagery was not used. These elements added a personal and human touch, reinforcing the friendly, playful, and lighthearted nature of the campaign. The overall design strategy aimed to create a welcoming and engaging visual identity that complemented the encouraging and reflective themes of the hero video, making the campaign both visually appealing and emotionally resonant for the RGU community.
